i did the same thing...but i was going for my ear phones and they just dipped into my cup of tea.....i pulled it out immedietly...luckily they weren't plugged in     seems to work fine...it was in there for a split second...i took the triple flange off right away and disconnected the wire...

shure se530's are $280 on amazon shipped now!

so, would most agree the Shure's se-530's have more bass?

I own the JVC marshmallows and the shure se310's...i also agree that the JVC's have much, much better bass
