Mine is new and hasn't been opened/closed a ton of times but there is a bit of play in the hinges such that when closed I can slightly slide the top just a bit back and forth. But that feels like it's by design of the hinge. I could see how over time though that bit of play might become loose.

I'll tell you what I can once I get my ST. The Mojo2 has become my go to DAC on the go, especially with how well the EQ has been implemented. Sometimes I use it solo with my iPhone, sometimes with Poly at home as a zone for Roon and sometimes as a DAC to feed other amps like the Cayin C9.
