No one has commented on this, but its interesting that the upgrade for He-400 is the He-400i and the upgrade for He-500 is the He-560. Kind of makes the He-400i seem more of an sidegrade than an actual upgrade in my opinion. I hope I'm wrong though.

I own an e10 and I think its definitely worth it. Its quite a large improvement on some headphones.

I don't know if you're still taking in suggestions or not, but I hope this helps. I own a pair of k240 MKII and powering it with a e10. I think it'll fit him very well, though you might want to use the extra bass on the e10, as the k240 is on the lighter side. The two work together very well. 

Haha, if you're complaining about there, then how about china? We have headphones selling generally for 150% of their american counterpart, even when the product's chinese and made in china (looking at you, he-400). And there's no discounts any time of the year.

That's strange. I checked the international shipping fees for HE-400 to china yesterday, and it was 25$. But today its 35$. Any reason why?
