Reply to review by 'guzziguy' on item 'ecp audio L-2 Parafeed Headphone Amplifier'
I listened to this amp recently using a pair of Sennheiser HD800 headphones. I mostly agree with with Rob's review. The sound was magnificent. The HD800 is hardly an efficient headphone, yet the L-2 drove it effortlessly. I'd also write Rob's last sentence as: "For those who have the money, and...- guzziguy

Singlepower amp registry
I have a Platinum Extreme with BG outputs and a stepped attenuator. This machine started life as a PPX3 6SN7, which I bought used from samgotit. I immediately had Mikhail upgrade it to a PPX3 Slam with attenuator and only had to wait a little for that. Later I had Mikhail upgrade it to its...- guzziguy

Where does high end start in the SP lineup?
I have a Platinum Extreme with stepped attenuator and Black Gate output upgrade. I consider it in the same league as the Zana Deux and jp#'s H2 (he wouldn't ). This is either just below high end or "low-end" high end. I prefer to think of them as the latter.- guzziguy
