[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

They don't compare at all in my opinion. I own both and the m100 is leagues better in my opinion. However, the ue9000 and ue6000 are a lot more comfortable for me. But they may fit you differently. I have even bought the V Moda deep pads for my m100 and they helped but I experience some fatigue...

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

I honestly do not care if the pads wear out. I have listened to these almost every day as my primary portable headphone for about a year now and the pads are yet to show even the beginnings of wear let alone ruin.  I have a feeling I could continue to use these almost daily for a few more years...

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

I just checked out the UE6000s on Amazon. I was blown away. They are about $80 cheaper than when I bought them. These are an incredible deal for only $130, I am picking up another pair in white this time just to be able to switch it up.

Yes. Any auxiliary cable would work. But obviously if you want the in line controls you would need an aux cable with the mic and 3 button control built in.

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

Oh. Well that's interesting. I have stretched my UE6000 out significantly just in day to day use and putting them on and taking them off and they're still fine. Not sure why yours did that. I don't necessarily have a small head either, how long have you had yours?

Not sure why you did that in the first place. No matter how durable my headphones were I wouldn't actually do a stress test on them unless it was for a review and i got a free pair.

Quote:     It depends on the person. Personally I do not like the fit of the M100 and find them fairly uncomfortable. I believe it has to do with the shape of the pads. But I suggest you try them. Worst case scenario they bother you for a while and then you get used to them.

Quote:     No, I'm sorry, I seem to be leading you the wrong way. The M100 are much better than the UE6000. But considering that theyre more expensive that is to be expected. But the durability of the UE6000 is not to be underestimated. They're build quality is not comparable to the...

    Help me choose please

Quote:      I would disagree with this statement. I can confidently say that the UE6000 are better than the MDR-1R, and are way out of the ATH-m50s league. The NC doesnt work very well, but they sound great when in active mod with an amp. With NC on they receive a bass and treble boost...

    Help me choose please

Well the UE 6000 sound best when the noise cancelling mode is off and powered by an amp. Dont get me wrong they still sound good in active mode but they are more flavored, some like it, some dont. If you get the UE6000 though you are going to want an amp. They arent very loud headphones without...

    post your grado mods....

I really want to get some wood cups formy Grados but I would prefer to make them myself. I might finally get that done next week if I get around to it. I'm not sure if I should get some jumbo pads or not though. I have the Grado sr80i and I know most people say that the jumbos sound bad on...

    Help me choose please

Quote:      Well with those headphones you are getting different things, and a very different price point. The Vmoda are most expensive followed by the Studio and then the UE. But as far as actual sound quality it depends on what you like. Some people might prefer the UE over the M100, but...

Quote:      Yeah thats a good explanation of it. I've never been a big fan of Klipsch speakers. I'm not as big into all of the speakers as I am headphones. But I do have a half decent home system. When I look at speakers I prefer older vintage models.

IN SERIOUS NEED FOR HELP WITH EQUALIZING

There has been a change in the plot..... after listening almost exclusively to the UE6000 for a while I tried the Grado again today, aaaaaaaaaand now I find them to be too bright. Will I ever be satisfied?

Quote:     Yeah, Earzonk kind of sucks. I got their L-Cush and they fit fine but they are not cut the same way as the real L-Cush and the sides are different from each other slightly. But theres no way I'm spending the regular amount of money on them. I refuse to spend any more than $10-$20...

Quote:     Well since the M100 are $300-$400 not sure which anymore, you could go Sennheiser momentum, Sennheiser hd 25ii, Beyerdynamic, HD600, Denon 2000, AKG K550, AKG Q701, AKG k702, etc. There are a lot of headphones in that price range. I have the UE6000 and I love them. They are not...

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

Quote:    Yes the DAC will work with any computer. But the DAC will not work with your iPhone, only the amp will be used when you listen through your iPhone. So if you rarely listen with your Mac then I would suggest the E11 as a better value.

Quote:    I would say that is technically accurate but there is a fairly big price difference between those 3 headphones. If you have enough for the M100 then I am not sure why you would even be looking at the Master Tracks. Also if you have the budget for the M100 there are several other...

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

Quote:    If you want an amp/DAC then go with the Fiio e07k or e17, e17 is better, the DAC wont work out of your iPhone though only if you listen through your computer but the amp will work on anything. But if you just want the amp or if you want to save money get the Fiio e11, it uses the...

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

The UE9000 are definitely not worth the extra $100. They are the exact same thing with wireless. They actually sound worse than the UE6000 because the bluetooth degrades sound quality and unless wireless, which is useless imo, is worth that much money then go UE6000.
