Radsone EarStudio ES100
Just looked briefly at it... Seems like a really cool piece of tech! Definitely adding it to my shortlist! Thanks for the recommendation! I must check out the BTR3K in detail again as I kinda just went past it and looked at the 2021 version of the BTR5... Thanks again for your heads up! Sorry...- vermilions

Haha I like tinkering, so the suffering is self-sought. 😂 I'm also a bit surprised, like @waynes world, that you think the BTR3K is better than the other mentioned, it's good though! It means that they're all quite comparable. And thanks so much for the coupon! I'll definitely have a look... But...- vermilions

Yeah I'm quite glad I got this model from Audiosense. I think Crinacle also says he prefers the Dt200s. 😝- vermilions

Yes I agree everyone had their preferences for ear tips. :) Thanks for the insight on the DT200 sound... I only just got them yesterday, and I find their stock tips a bit uncomfortable. I prefer the comfort of Comply tips at the sacrifice of sound quality. I tried using the eartip finder on...- vermilions

Hi all.... Does anyone with the DT200s use Comply eartips? Which model should I get to get the best fit onto the IEM? Thanks in advance!- vermilions

Any luck on finding some better fitting, third-party ear tips? Do you know if any Comply foam tips would fit the DT200?- vermilions

Radsone EarStudio ES100
Thanks so much for checking your retired ES100s just for me... much appreciated. I guess I have to find an alternative (5K looks great) or get another ES100 in the end. Mine is working really well with no bluetooth connection trouble; only charging port troubles. I can still charge it but have...- vermilions

World First! Massdrop x HiFIMAN Collaboration Announcement
How do the RE00 sound compared to the Shure SE215? The RE00 is much cheaper than what I paid for my Shures but from the reviews of the original RE0, it seems to be touted as "the best IEM" back in the day...- vermilions

ZuperDac Crowd Funding.
Does anyone know if the ZuperDac specs would beat the Stoner Acoustics UD series or the hifimediy Sabers? I'd most likely be using them for my Shure SE215s and Beyerdynamic T51p on my Android. Thanks- vermilions

REVIEW (more to come) - CEntrance DACport 24/96 USB DAC Amp
Hi fellow head-fiers, would want some advice... Is it still wise to purchase a second hand Centrance Dacport today now that it's 4+yrs old? I am using the Leckerton UHA-4 dac/amp combo and considering upgrading to something with higher sample rate /bit depth support. Thanks in advance any...- vermilions

Hi, I'm trying to make one of these as well. Did it work out by just simply splicing two micro USB ends together? How do I determine which side is the source side? Thanks! -

ALAC vs. FLAC
Yeah, come to think of it... that's a lot of money! My parents and a few relatives have passed on their CD collections to me and I guess it's my job to make sure I keep them in good condition! Yeah, I have them all backed up using Glacier. :) Thanks for your advice!- vermilions

How To tell between a 'real' FLAC and a 'fake' FLAC?
Hi, sorry for digging out an old thread, but I have a question regarding these spectral diagrams. I'm not sure how to interpret these two MP3 files and would love some help. So the first one is a a 256 kbps MP3 file ripped a long time ago using iTunes. The second one is a 320 kbps MP3 file...- vermilions

ALAC vs. FLAC
Hi, just want to ask a question regarding FLAC and ALAC. I am using Mac and iPods, but recently I've been eyeing some non-Apple DAPs like the iBasso DX50, Fiio X3/X5, etc. I'm also in the progress of converting some lower bit-rate songs in my iTunes library to either 320kpbs MP3 or lossless...- vermilions
