Sadly my Alessandro MS-Pros are not getting much use as I am spending more time with my speakers in my new house. They sound great but need a new home so I will be listing them in the FS section...

Fairly comparable in terms of SQ. Dragonfly is a better product and works with USB3 with no issues whereas the UD110 won't work with my Laptop's USB ports...   I don't think the Dragonfly is $200 better, maybe $100 (build quality etc)

Strange, does your MacBook Air have USB3 ports perchance? They are the source of my issues with Windows 7.

  Mine works fine in my missus' MacBook - I had to go into Audio settings and select it but it worked with no issues.   Win 7 x64 on the other hand...

I'm selling my T1's unfortunately.. A few urgent household expenses and more speaker use has determined they're being wasted hanging on their stand... Letting them go for a good price considering they're essentially brand new.

I preferred my MS-Pro's to LCD-2's and I prefer my MS-Pro's to my T1's... Unless I'm listening critically, then the T1's win easily.

I only found the concerto to be slightly brighter while the classic is smoother and full sounding.

I don't think one technology is technically superior than the other; they all have advantages and disadvantages just have to find a set of cans that have disadvantages you can live with/don't care about.

They were more comfortable than the leather ones because they didn't have the weight of murder baring down on my head.

A lot of factors contribute to comfort mate, glasses, head shape, amount of hair etc it could just be they're not for everyone ;)

That's the driver I'm using (dropbox one) it appears to be the culprit locking my PC    was hoping there was another driver floating around >.< 

Anyone using this with Windows 7 64bit, if so, which drivers are you using? I have two PCs that won't play nice with the UD110 and both are running windows 7 64 but my missus' MacBook works fine so I assume its the drivers I'm using on Windows.

I also did that with my MS-Pros.

It could be a bit of both? It seems to be an effect on the upper mids > treble area that makes them sound a bit hollow/resonant (similar PVC pipe lol) which is alleviated when listening through the Ember (could be the darker sound sig compared to the Classic tames the trouble frequencies?)  ...
