Appreciate the response, I have Modi so far is that worth upgrading to bifrost? I would probably use the upgraded usb if i got it upgraded. Thoughts on that?

What do we think about Dt990 600 vs the dt880 600 ohm with A2? 

So I am in the bidness for a pair of open back headphones. I am between Beyerdynamic Dt990 premium and Sennheiser HD650. Now I know Vahalla or Lyr would be an overall better amp for those two cans but i have the A2 and love it. Which would you guys suggest to pair well with A2?

i have SRH840's as well and getting a dedicated amp can really make the cans shine. Check out FiiO they have some portable amp/DACs as well as desktop amps. 40ohm is quite low for needed extra power but its high enough where an amp will improve the headphones. Ive noticed with an amp the bass...

thought id share my Schiit stack. very pleased with Asgard 2 and was one of the lucky that didnt have a transformer issue       

Definitely check out Beyerdynamic Dt 770 pro 80ohm, those would be great for any DJ work and they would blow recent headphone brands out of the water. I would also consider the new Beyerdynamic Dt 1350, from reviews their isolation is suppose to be amazing and they have some excellent sound...
