I find these to be overly warm, with too much veil, a real lack of clarity, and a real lack of articulate bass. Likewise the pl30s (though with these I had a far better fit). I honestly think these are overpriced, as they don't compete with phones half the price.

RHA MA150 is bassy to the point of ridiculous. The sound quality isn't great because of it, but there is not a human on the planet who could listen to those and say they aren't bassy enough.

The soundmagic pl30s go over the ear - I know a lot of people like that and it reduces cable noise but I find that pretty uncomfortable, if you've never worn headphones like that before you should make sure you can get use to it.   Aside from that, the pl30s are very underwhelming I think...

I love the philips she3570/3580. They have great sounding bass and are decent all over the spectrum.
