    Who is refurbishing Sansa Clips?

So have I, but I'd like to see if I can get my broken ones repaired all at once for a lesser cost.

    Who is refurbishing Sansa Clips?

I love my sansa clip+ but I have about three broken ones now. I've got the new sansa sport which is terrible, and I can't find any alternative with all the things I love about the clip (physical buttons, radio, recorder, easy UI). I see they're discontinued, but also that ebay and amazon are...

[2021 Update] Venture Electronics (VE) Monk V2, Monk Plus & Monk Go: a $5 earbud that taking the world by storm!!!

I would also very much like to know about this as well. I've never seen much talk on this forum about what producers of these headphones are thinking or attempting in the design of their headphones, so it would be very interesting.   I ask this as someone who already owns two pairs of monks...

    Confused by Akg names - k81 = 414?

I've seen some stuff in forums about AKG model names that led me to believe some models have multiple names, possibly in different territories. Can anyone tell me if there's a list of the alternate names for models? I'm interested in the k26, k81, k451 and a few others models, but in researching...

Office Over-ears: Beyer 235, Superlux 668B, Creative Aurvana, or iGrado?

I forgot to mention, I don't really want to get a pair of Sennheisers or JVC, I haven't liked any that I've tried of their iems or over-ears. I own a pair of Sennheiser hd415 that I've forgotten about pretty much because they sound so dull.

Office Over-ears: Beyer 235, Superlux 668B, Creative Aurvana, or iGrado?

Hi all,    I'm looking for a decent pair of office over-ear headphones which I use almost for the full 8 hours at work. I'm used to iems, but I worry about damaging my ears by using them for so long, and sometimes have to use desktops for which the cables won't reach all the way to the back of...

    [REVIEW] SoundMAGIC PL21

Quote: Fair enough. I'm just a little bit annoyed with these (well, the pl30 specifically) because I bought them for £30  after the hype a few years ago, and they were my only usable iems for about 6 months. I never really liked them, and ditched them as soon as I could. Even then, their...

    [REVIEW] SoundMAGIC PL21

I find these to be overly warm, with too much veil, a real lack of clarity, and a real lack of articulate bass. Likewise the pl30s (though with these I had a far better fit). I honestly think these are overpriced, as they don't compete with phones half the price.

    Bassiest IEM

RHA MA150 is bassy to the point of ridiculous. The sound quality isn't great because of it, but there is not a human on the planet who could listen to those and say they aren't bassy enough.

    Sony MDR-ED12LP - Awesome earbud/in-ear hybrid

I've loved these for a long time, but I thought I'd finally stick my neck out and make a post about these. Yes they're earbuds, and yes they're budget - they're not going to replace your shures, etys, or ciems, but to my ears these are great enough to duke it out with things like the monoprice...

    Are earbuds dying?

Quote: That's a bit harsh. I need to use earbuds for watching movies, youtube, skype calls (talking with iems is horrible), and when I need to hear external noises. Sure, most of the current popular earbuds suck, but they didn't always suck. Manufacturers are just mostly putting out some...

    The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..

Quote: After finally getting a pair of these my first impression is to agree. These are excellent.    It's cool how these cheap iems are achieving great sound quality by doing simple things. I would assume the great soundstage and detail comes from being just a big driver (common in...

Concerns about the safety of IEMs. Long-term wearers, what are your experiences?

IEMs probably don't help the accumulation of ear wax, and as someone who spends way too much time with earphones and has had impacted earwax more than once I think the number one thing that can help is hydrogen peroxide. When I get blocked ears, using that to clean my ears (there are probably...

New RHA MA150 universals launching today! Will this be a new price/performance ratio champ?

Quote:   Well I always lean towards bassier sound signatures since I mostly listen to old soul and edm. Though for a mids-based phones I hate bright highs, and really appreciate analytical sound in the rest of the sig - a lot of attack and no flabbiness or veil. I like to hear (or feel...

New RHA MA150 universals launching today! Will this be a new price/performance ratio champ?

Quote: Are these even being sold outside of the UK? I guess though £15 isn't much, it's still a fiver more than the xtreme xplosives, the 3580s, the monoprice 8320s, or whatever the base sony models are now, and from a relatively unknown brand too. So people probably just aren't inclined to...

New RHA MA150 universals launching today! Will this be a new price/performance ratio champ?

Quote: I can't believe it either. These are what I had hoped the xtreme xplosives would sound like, but whereas I found those muddy and artificial, these put out a lot of really nice, smooth bass.   I really wouldn't recommend these to anyone as a primary pair of headphones though. Like...

New RHA MA150 universals launching today! Will this be a new price/performance ratio champ?

Quote:   This is everything you need to know about these. Jesus christ, they really thwomp and boom. Only £15 too, I think these might replace the philips she3580 as my favourite phones (yes I'm a basshead) - they have far more lowend. They're really isolating too, I'm beginning to think...

    The Monoprice MP9927 PG 208.. MP8320 (MEP-933)..The $7.11 club..

So after all the hype is the general consensus now that these phones aren't really that special? Better than the she5580 in terms of soundstage but not much else (unless you really hate bass)? It doesn't fill me with confidence that most recent posts are about mods and struggles getting a good...

Philips SHE3580 IEM review--how can something sound so good for $10???

I'd really like to see your mod as I feel the soundstage on this is the one major flaw. Perhaps you could upload elsewhere and just post a link?

Battle of budget: Creative Labs EP-630 vs Soundmagic pl30

The soundmagic pl30s go over the ear - I know a lot of people like that and it reduces cable noise but I find that pretty uncomfortable, if you've never worn headphones like that before you should make sure you can get use to it.   Aside from that, the pl30s are very underwhelming I think...

EarPods..! - Its what apple calls its next gen Earbuds.. Fancy anyone?

Quote: I think the sony earbuds which have that half in-ear style happen to be the best earbuds I've heard, certainly in the budget range (the most recent being the ed12s, which have superb mid and high end though lack in bass a bit compared to previous models). Regardless, even if these...

    JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions

I've been listening to the x1x for a few days now and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. There's a lot of bass, but it sounds like the kind of bass you hear from the next block over when they're having a ghetto party. I consider myself a basshead, but I still want to hear the notes and tone...

    Bargain earbuds?

I love the philips she3570/3580. They have great sounding bass and are decent all over the spectrum.
