Just got the 371 on friday. I do find it pleasing to listen to even without eq'ing. I tend to like 'monitoring' type of headphones and this is a good one for me.

I wrote them an email and also asked my local dealer. I think if I happen to visit the US, that would be how I could save a few hundred dollars. This would be post covid vaccine though.

It is one year out of warranty.

Especially at this economy. I really2 love the LCD4 as a mastering monitoring tool. Just frustrating for me but I dont think I can shell out $2k just for driver replacements.

How would you describe the difference? in what ways do you find the 560s to be in another league?

My right driver suddenly died. Not sure if I want to spend $2k (1.2k + shipping and duties) to fix it. might just let this go as scrap.

it has been 2 years since I listened to them. Flattering is okay, but if the dynamic response or the freq balance alters the music (that i am familiar with) too much, I tend to gravitate the other way.

Yes, we all have our own preferences. I do mix and master engineering for a living. My hearing preference is more in the direction of monitoring.

Woo audio (i forgot which model, i think wa5 , questyle cma800 golden monoblock) all fed from dcs dac. We also tried chord hugo and also cavalli small amp.

i have used the lcd4 with rnhp. I think they pair quite well. You have to crank the gain to 2-3 o’clock though. The RNHP made me fall in love with LCD 4. Previously, I tried them with high end amps and I was wondering why the LCD4 was a reference TOTL for Audeze. The 2-3 amps I tried did not...

Amp changes the headphone monitoring game. Give Little Labs Monotor or Rupert Neve Headphone amp a try.

I agree. I used to have HD600 and I still have HD800S. I mix for a living. I mix most of the time with CD900ST modded and now with MDR-1Am2. I use the HD800S for finishing phase after 80% completing the mix with the CD900ST.
