JVC HA-FX700 review : WOODEN KING of Dynamic iems

Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple)
Quote: They are silicon tips that have larger bore than others. I wish I know where to get a second pair of them. Now my kaede and 334 share one pair. Another way is that if you have friends who have 334 use different size of tips from you, don't let them go and ask for one pair :)- raylliant

AKG K3003 High End 3 Way System Headphone
Quote: I think the answer is yes. Its a matter of taste. The k3003 has wider soundstage and more sparkle treble. The ie800 is a relatively bass heavy IEM.- raylliant

Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple)
I've not heard sui, but kaede is way more open and balance than fx700. The bass on fx700 is too much.- raylliant

That will tame the treble down a little bit but at the same time sacrifice the beautiful air around the instruments by a small margin. So it's more like a double-edged sword.- raylliant

Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple)
Quote: Hi Up late, They are all very capable and highly detailed IEMs with different sound signature. The Kaede is more balanced and more open than IE800, which has the most bloated bass among the three. The K3003 has a little bit wider sound stage than the other two. So it's all up to...- raylliant

Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple)
Quote: Hi Mattio84, Flat4 Kaede has a wide and open soundstage being an IEM, but I don't think it can compete with HD800. TBH, I have not found any IEM or CIEM that can offer the vast soundstage like HD800. If I have to choose one, I would say the JH16 Freqphase can be the IEM version of...- raylliant

Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple)
I've had the Flat4 Kaede for more than a week. What impresses me most is the soundstage of this little gem. Its soundstage is significantly larger than my Fitear 334, and close to the k3003's scale.- raylliant
