ATH-M50 vs ATH-M50S LE impressions
Pretty sure they're the same specification wise (that is audio technica intended them to be the same) But there might be some manafacturing differences as the LE version would be made with a different batch and the housing is obviously different.- ViralRazor

ATH-M50's little bass.
No bass? Strannnnge.... Especially at high volumes! I find the bass on the M50s comes out much more at higher volumes. They definitely aren't basshead phones, but they certainly do have a nice amount of bass. Listen to this at high volumes. If you still think little/no bass...- ViralRazor

OEM of these new thermaltake headphones?
Based on that guy's description of being very bass heavy and the design of the headphones (especially the bits around the hinges on the cups and the headband extender, as well as the circular cups) I would say... ATH-Pro700mk2? Though I have no clue! Someone tell me what it is! D:- ViralRazor

Monoprice Hi-Fi DJ Style Headphone Review
LOL DJ RAVINE! Sorry this is a bit out of topic, but how much hardstyle and/or EDM dance events is there in US. I've seen DJ ravine IRL at one of those 'events'/raves and tbh I don't like his happy hardcore.- ViralRazor

Any recent reviews of the Audio-Technica A900X?
Based on specs I would say its largely a cosmestic upgrade from the A900 however with some very slight changes to the driver.... A900: 5-40,000Hz frequency response 40 ohm impedance 53mm driver with OFC voice coil 2,000mW max. input power Sensitivity: 101db A900x: ...- ViralRazor

Just got HFI-580s...defective???
The way it generates soundstage is by angling the drivers at your jaw. Changing the soundstage will change the perception of other sounds. You can't just perfectly tweak something without affecting anything else!- ViralRazor

Just got HFI-580s...defective???
Perhaps he's not used to the 'type of bass' or that whole s-logic thing. Or maybe the s-logic thing just isn't for him. I read somewhere that the ultrasone head commeted about s-logic and how its pretty dividing. People either like it or they don't- ViralRazor

Maybe he just doesn't like em. Enjoyment of music, and hence our particular favourite sound signature is all subjective. Music, at the core, is subjective! Audio is subjective! Its all subjective!- ViralRazor

V-Moda M-80 or Audio Technica M50?
I like my m50s!!! mememe! Though heavier bass, probably the V-modas would be a better choice. I have no clue where the whole idea of M50s being bassy came from. At most they have a 5db boost at 110hz (bare in mind that it is appropriate for headphones to have a bass boost at that...- ViralRazor

Sennheiser HD598 + Snowboarding
Christ you must be damned good to consider wearing headphones while snowboarding. Went on a ski camp this year, first time. Holy **** I fell over so many times and even crashed into a rock. Great fun though but the only thing I'd be wearing on my head would be a helmet :P- ViralRazor

do skullcandy's suck tht bad at sound quality..?
I had an hour long listen to the aviators :S In my opinion they were okay, but no way worth the $250 Sounded like a HD 201 with more and better bass, but that was it. Seemed pretty boring and waaay too smooth for me and didn't do vocals especially well for me.- ViralRazor

LOL carl. Its only cause you're more subjected to sight bias. Herp derp. The STX objectively, key word, OBJECTIVELY, performs better than most external DACs to something like $400...- ViralRazor

Very simple ATH-M50 'balance' mod (less bass, more mids)
Someone take off all the tape damnit and tell me how it sounds! :D My m50s need a bit moar bass for now (for some lovely EDM) but I'm scared of DIY!- ViralRazor

Skullcandy aviators. Actually not that good?
Well I don't know.. Recently I've spent about an hour or so with the aviators, and while I only have one pair to compare them with (M50s), I don't see all the 'hype' about them. They do mids better than the M50s (guitars mostly) but vocals seem a bit too far away, and not as powerful...- ViralRazor

Hip Hop/Rap Headphone reccomendations. $150-300. DT150?
M50's are surprisingly good with vocals and have really decent sub bass and the little quasi RnB I listen to (linkin park LOL) sound bloody excellent on em.- ViralRazor

Super fi. 5. extended bass?
Well I know these are quite old but seeing as I can get these for reasonably cheaply (about $130) I'm wondering if they're worth it? I'm generally wondering about long term durability and fit! Also wondering about sound but I think I'll like them for the genres I listen too mostly...- ViralRazor

(Studio Worthy Headphones of up to $200) UPDATE: I got the ATH-M50's. I hate them! Why?.. Thoughts?
May I ask; what kind of "techno"? M50s are a bit meh with music with a lot of midbass and songs where the drum kick isn't extended very far.- ViralRazor
