I have been a/b the 580 with my hippo vb and after hours I conclude the 580 just cant compair to the vbs. Now the 580 cost 30.00 and the hippos cost 80.00. The hippos are IEM and the 580s are earbuds.  But for the cost of the 580 they are a steal. So back to the hippos

I whent to radio shack and bought the comply T400 tips but they gave too much bass so I whent back and bought the AUVIO silicon tips by radio shack and wow they are just great for my hippo vbs plus they will last a long time over the complys.

I find the hippos great for tv movies. WOW. I use them with no bass caps and get a wide sound stage. ENJOY the hippos.

I really liked my pl30s also over the reo but replaced the pl30s with the hippo vbs. I had the noobs off my pl30 for a hugh sound stage and now have my hippo vbs with open backs with no bass noobs also for a hugh sound stage.
