To my experience, HD 598 sound more enjoyable for general listening, especially long session. Wider sound stage and nice trebles. Way easier to drive, even with a E7, which surprised me greatly. Been listening to it every time i go to a headphone store to test out new toys. Agree on the problem...

There is reason why manufacturer make high end headphones with way better performance and sell them at higher price. Looked at the title just now, went wondering what if that's true.. the first thing came to my mind: My wallet! (Tears)

A T1 i am dreaming for... drools

  MDR-E10LP/L  That was long time ago when i'm still a kid. Although i don't listen to it anymore, but it is still the earbud that introduced me to private listening! Am now stuck with my HD 600.

Am looking forward to hear the PS500 once they are out soon! Not really into PS1000 but GS1000 is one that attracted me a lot. Hope to see   the PS500 with an affordable price tag, if not i'm going for HD 650 real soon..
