How to make woody earcups for Fostex T50RP?
Quote: hmm interesting. I could have sworn I saw some posts where someone made his/her own wooden cups (not from Smeggy) for the fostex t50rp. The biggest hurdle is figuring out the measurements and dimensions of everything. From there, one would probably need a lathe to cut nice... -

How to make woody earcups for Fostex T50RP?
Are there any tutorials, design plans, how-to's, or people with helpful advice regarding constructing wooden ear cups for the Fostex T50RP and the assembly of the drivers into the cups? I think this would be a fun and challenging modification to the headphones to try. Thanks for any and all help!- buddyboy1

Where to buy Fostex T50RP Headphones?
I have been quite interested in getting into the sound of orthodynamic headphones and head-fi. At one point I was seriously considering the Audeze LCD-2, but considering I am a college student and the price tag of $950, that is just not an option for me. The Fostex T50RP looks like a great place...- buddyboy1

How to repair vintage amp?
Thanks for all the input and help everyone. From what I can tell, all solder points, tracks, and components look good visually. The amp does not make any hiss from what I could tell, also the power supply does not get warm at all. I am not entirely sure how to check the power supply... -

How to repair vintage amp?
So I recently acquired a Yamaha CA-610 II stereo amplifier off of the curb of the road with a sticker on it saying "Does not work". I picked it up regardless in hopes I could fix it up without too much trouble. Thing is I have never done any repair work on an amplifier before so I am not sure...- buddyboy1
