  agree with @nmatheis. The VSD5 and the D2 are apples to oranges. Though I must say the D2 has way better build quality than the VSD5 or for the matter the entire Vsonic lineup. If you are looking for a cheap pair of earphones to abuse, these should be considered. :)

i have the multi driver version from 3.14n. Don't bother wasting your money. both versions are equally muddy :(

Hmm the headphone bar link is showing a GR07 Classic maroon color even though it is a GR07 bass listing.    Anyway, i think you can get the GR07 Bass on amazon canada too. 

those who heard it correct me if I am wrong- the AD01 has the warmth of the GR07 bass and the punch bass and clarity of the DN-1000 but DN1000 does have a slight edge in these 2 areas ( rightly so given that the DN-1000 is more expensive) 

I don't have the best ears but I do think it sounds like a cross between the GR07 Bass and DN-1000     Surprising, it needs abit more power to drive it even though the specs states that it is 9 ohms only. 

Tried the AD01 at the LMUE store. Pretty good strong bass and the clarity is there. I like it!
