Looking to broaden my listening
I listen to mostly classic rock bands (Beatles, Zeppelin, Queen etc). I'll give almost anything a chance, could you guys suggest some stuff for me? (bands/albums) -

Overpriced headphone competition: BOSE vs Pioneer.
my triports were my only HP's for about 2 years. they were sufficient, and only recently i had to repair the jack. they're not terrible headphones, but they were over priced quite a bit.- JPresz

Having a tough time picking out closed and some what portable-ish HP's
the only issue with the D2000's is i've heard they leak sound in and out. if i was listening at a moderate level (i never really go past half on my itouch with my other portables [triports ]) would the leakage be much of a problem?- JPresz

Having a tough time picking out closed and some what portable-ish HP's
Quote: well i do have the E7 as a portable amp/dac. yes, the D5000's are nice, but im not so sure i can find them within my budget so the D2000's would be the alternative- JPresz

Having a tough time picking out closed and some what portable-ish HP's
well, i'm sort of looking for something i can use at home through the e7/e9 combo (something to use other than my K701's once in a while) as well as at school through the e7. i'm not really looking for a "portable only" pair of headphones- JPresz

Having a tough time picking out closed and some what portable-ish HP's
Currently i own a pair of K701's and quite enjoy how they sound with almost any genre of music. I'm trying to get something that i can take to school, but they don't have to be "strictly portable", as long as the E7 will power them enough. i listen to mostly classic rock and a bit of metal. ...- JPresz

Looking for an upgrade from bose on-ear
the M50 is an upgrade, not a sidegrade. if you bought the M50's, you could spend another $80 on the Fiio E7 portable amp/dac.- JPresz
