My impressions mirror .Sup's.  When switching from the Auditor to the ROC SA, I do not notice any more "drivability" of my HE-500's, only a different presentation.   The power 'arms race' at HF is extremely exaggerated.

Aside for June 8th weekend, my schedule is wide open.   Has a date and venue been decided on?  Mount Royal also provides facility rentals along with free parking on Sunday's.  Not sure of facilities costs though.  Keep us posted.

The Calgary community is long over due for an audio meet.  It is nice to see one being organized.  I do have some bad news.  From Sunday morning into the afternoon I am attending another event and will not be showing up at the meet until after 14:30.  As a result, I will not be brining my gear...

The bass on the HE500s responds very well to amping.  It can sound boomy, bloomy and loose or tight, precise, and punchy.  Look elsewhere if you need sub-bass.

elwappo, the Ref 5.2 already sounds great with the Auditor and your Reference 1 would sound fantastic I'm sure.   Last night I got lost in the music while listening to the self titled Dire Straits record on the Auditor with my K501's.
