The j-phonic K2 SP isn't fun, at all. Only at high volumes. Less fun than the SM3 (funniest) and W4, but it has a better presentation, as a stax Headphone. Better for stage, with better transparency than the SM3, but less bass impact and texture, with great low level resolution.   Quote...

Why not the j-phonic k2 SP? It has everything you want, but it has a less involving and emotional signature.    I've tried the CK10 and dba-02 and the k2 are way better. The dbas-02 are like a toy compared to k2... Faster and a more polite iem, everything is perfect, less the emotional part...

Right now, I have the three with me. I prefer the j-phonic k2 SP and the SM2 for relaxing.

I am thinking to exchange the SM3s V1 for j-phonic K2 SP. Is this the right move? I'll keep the SM2 V1 (I prefer these to the SM3s).

I've made a comparison between SM2 and SM3 here. It's in portuguese, but you can see the pictures of both cables.   Both are very good. You have 3 years guarantee if you buy them from thomann.de   The dual-flange tips have larger diameter now.

Earsonics SM2 would be the best option.
