It is a big combination! Compact sound, energic, cleaned and detailed. The amplifier "round out" the limits (iperdetails) of the 701. The head box se is a very good amplifier but there are need to have a good headphone. There are big sinery here! + +

I think that the head box se is very good amplifier for akg k 701. I not agree whit people that have said that head box is not good. This people probably haven't akg 701.... S.
