you could consider Meelec products - or try an all rounder like Phiaton Ps210 -   

the sound is not warm at all.. and surely not bassy.. the bass is very tight when you get a good seal and the sound is very clear and detailed.. like a surround sound signature.. not stereo at all... + the cable is not as thick as you might think.. maybe thinker than UEs.. but the same as...

getting sibilance too! did you notice any improvement..? i'm kinda thinking over my investment!

hmmm not so much anymore.. can hear that sssssss sound when dr dre sings in "I need a doctor" and in other songs too.. i'll listen to it a little more and see what it comes.. then do a review

ok got them! they are in my ears! listening to Gareth Emery - Sanctuary ! The sound is amazingly clear !!! i Love that feeling .. it's true that the bass lacks a little punch.. you can clearly hear it.. but not feel it.. i'll write a review later comparing it to Monster Beats Dr Dre. /...

ok. i used to have the iPod touch and compared it with the Zune HD. the Zune hd even without proper eq still had a much clearer sound than the ipod.    I'll be getting the E5 soon probably ... hoping that it will only add bass and not distort the sound :p   

oh no iPod.. i use a Zune HD .. i need the amp on the go.

i ended up getting the Phiaton PS200 and it is said across several threads and reviews that they kinda lack bass.   That's what i am fearing.. for the volume, i don't think i will be increasing it.. only a bass boost should be enough i think..

ok.. i'm so confused now.. i just ordered some new expensive IEMs, and wanted to get something not expensive.. so the FiiO E5 are still on my list.. it's either that or nothing actually.. the CMOYs look weird :p i don't see myself carrying that ! if i want to use it at home, ill connect it...

@alphabeatsco  i used to have the same problem. I am from Mauritius and i ordered from amazon who will ship it free to my US box then forward it to me. you should consider a forwarding service .. there are plenty out there .. i do not want to advertise here.. just research one that fits you...

Hello,   i am new to amp. i just ordered myself a Phiaton Ps200 and have been reading the negative and finding ways to fix that. Someone told me to get a portable AMP.. i looked at the Fiio E5..   can someone plz help me with this.. i had never thought about portable amp before.. and...
