Some DT770 80ohm and Fiio E9 fit your budget.

They sound the same. I would go for the straight version just because it is more durable in long term.

looks like an original uDac as the uDac-2 has a white light indicator not blue. The best way to find out is to test it with 24/96 music. If it plays, it is uDac-2. If not, it is uDac.

when udac 2 is not connect, the sound configure says 2 - Nuforce uDac. Is that normal? I thought it's gonna say Nuforce uDac - 2. Because there is no visual difference between uDac and uDac 2. I just want to make sure.   Anyone?   Lee
