Hello Head fiers!    I am looking to swap out the tubes in my hlly mk III. the pre amp is GE 5654 and the power tube is 6n11 or 6h30. Any suggestions that will improve performance? Any other mods users can suggest?        Thanks again

OK I owe Head injury one! I had no idea itunes sounded so bad. Went to Foobar2000 with aiso drivers huge. Also replace rca cable with 1m blue jet. Now I just have to figure out how to organize and rename everything. Thanks again Head-fi

Cans were my first hi fi purchase (actually my wonderful wife bought them for me). That seems like the most logical upgrade. I dont think I will purchase any new gear untill can jam. Just some used cd shopping. Thanks again!

got 4 baldwin marked shortplate "organ" tubes for 10 bucks on ebay. Very noticeable change from china tube. Swap that stock tube if you own one of these things.
