I don't think anyone expects you to give anything away, just keep offering US-made products with "good value" as you currently already do now.
A quality and powerful balanced amplifier that would drive just about anything (like the Lyr) could potentially be very popular. 
I'd pay $1K+ for such a beast from Schiit.  Compared to competitive offerings, that seems like a very good value to me.

Seconded... A 1000-1500+ dollar price range balanced Lyr-type amp with preamp output (XLR) and remote control. Discrete volume control. MMmmmmmm...

Looks like we'll be able to do the Bay Area meet! I'm not sure if it'll be me or Mike, or both of us, but we'll be there, either with a late proto or early production of Lyr, and the other amps as well.

Talking about meets, I already pre-ordered one and Im hoping to bring it to the big Seattle meet on March 5th so everyone can get a listen. Jason, what do you think the chances are of getting one to us up here in the Northwest if I pay extra for a quick ship. That is of course if you can get them done by the rough estimated March 1st date?

I suspect that the Lyr will do a good job with the K1000s.  They will require 1-WPC @ 120 ohms to sing. 
 
BTW, since I've enjoyed my Asgard, lo, these many months, I've come to appreciate more and more its transparency and honesty.  Getting the right DAC to feed it makes all the difference.  I'm sure the same will be said of the Lyr.

Not necessarily a response to the quoted posts, but if there's one rhetorical question I want to pose to this type of attitude, it's: what do you need a review for? A basic description of the amp has been provided along with the purpose of the amp (for high-impedance and/or inefficient headphones, including orthodynamics) and the company has a 15-day return policy. If you don't like it, return it or sell it on the FS forums. Just because the power output is spec'd at 6W into 32 Ohms doesn't mean it's necessarily for low-impedance headphones in general - any power output rating into 32 Ohms is a common spec on headphone amps. Jason Stoddard has already specifically stated this amp is for headphones like the Audeze LCD-2, HiFiMan HE-6/HE-5LE, and Beyerydynamic T1 - essentially, orthos and high-impedance headphones. By extrapolation this includes headphones like the other 600 Ohm Beyers (there are more than just the T1) and the AKG K340 & K240M, for example.

Why have head fi then if not for spec and reviews?

Sorry about lack of response on European retailers--all I can say is "working on it!" We're finishing up CE self-cert now, and should be able to announce some resellers in the first quarter. 
 
And yep, it'll have a 6.3mm-3.5mm converter, though it's definitely more industrial-quality than audiophile-approved. We include it as a convenience.
 
K1000s? I haven't had a chance to test Lyr with those cans, but the way it calculates out seems to say, "Yep, covered." I have to borrow a set and see how it does firsthand, though!

Nope, no 4-pin XLR or speaker outs--we had a long conversation with a member here about that, but in the end decided not to change the design for two reasons:
 
1. I really want to make it clear that 4-pin XLRs on our gear is for balanced connections only. I don't want to be seen as trying to "spoof" balanced with 4-pin connections from a single-ended source.
2. Adding a 4-pin connector means moving the volume control, which means another round of prototypes for everything--board, chassis, etc, etc. In the end, we decided to stay with our tried-and-true layout.
