well, the HF-2 were not overpriced for me as I bought them...and I'm glad I did !!

I may have misunderstood the question: what exactly do you mean by "detailed"? brighter? By the way is there a glosssary of terms somewhere for the terms used to describe how headphones sound?

Hi pearljam ;-) For me it's HF2 with Graham Slee SOLO SRG! I find the amp is as (if not more) important than the cans for good resolution.
