Anyone try the Graham Slee Solo/Ultra-Linear with the T1? I was just reading of how it has a warm tube-like presentation with a bit of emphasis on the bottom end, might go well together.

Best Headphones For Chamber Music/Sting Quartets

From what I've been reading of your preferences, I'm surprised no-one has yet mentioned the HD800. It has reportedly the widest soundstage, amazing imaging and is considered one of, if not, the best for classical/orchestral pieces. That and the T1 would get my vote.

Hey RPG, did you ever try using ALchemy settings? I'm sure you're attached to the Kx audio drivers, and for good reason, but why not explore all avenue's of the Titanium HD and its settings before disregarding the card entirely?   I personally think if you're happier with your Audigy, and it...

Quote: Aw come on RPG, people always disagree on head-fi, whether it be because of preference of other factors. I think the factor here is hardware, and my assumption is the reason you enjoy Dolby Headphone more than most is because while the sound signature of the XB500 appeals to you...

Quote: Other software alternatives? I know I can recreate the DH effect in Foobar as RPGWiZaRD pointed out, but if there's ways to make it an effect in games, I am completely oblivious. If it's possible to run DH off the Titanium HD in games via external software, I'm definitely in as...

Quote: Alright I'll look into it some more. Personally, I'm trying to see if the TItanium HD, without the effects that need to be supported(MacroFX and Elevation Filter?), like OpenAL/EAX, would be the better choice, than something like the D2X which supports DH (DH, again being a...

Quote:   Gustoo brings up a good point, OpenAL & EAX have to be supported in order to be fully taken advantage of, so there will be without a doubt several games most people own that wouldn't take advantage of those features; even some of the newer games.   Is there a feature that...

So it seems clear that from what I've been reading here, and many other threads, that CMSS-3D seems to affect SQ far too much to even be considered.    However according to this: http://www.overclock.net/sound-cards-computer-audio/1065344-titanium-hd-vs-xonar-d2-my.html   and this...

REVIEW – Schiit Audio Valhalla Tube Headphone Amplifier

Quote: Oh I wouldn't need a monstrous amount of bass, I'm actually getting a bit sick of having too much bass to be honest.   I'm just interested in bass being slightly more present, for example when playing a cinematic movie/single player game, or listening to electronic music; my...

REVIEW – Schiit Audio Valhalla Tube Headphone Amplifier

Wanted to bump this review   I'm considering doing a T1 + Valhalla combo, I just wanted to ask how it was on bass performance. I've heard the T1 through an SS amp, and while I love absolutely everything about it (tonality, soundstage, imaging, etc.) the only thing I felt it was missing was a...
