New Audeze Film with Jerry Harrison of The Talking Heads
I thought it might good to share some impressions from the Dolby Atmos studio with Jerry Harrison and Eric “ET” Thorngren commenting on the latest Audeze headphones. I worked with the brilliant cinematographer Brian Capener to create this story with very high production values. Enjoy and...- TwoTrack

Love the Magnepan line. I have 1.7s and had IIIas and 1.6s before them.- TwoTrack

Jade II Discussion
Importer suggested running in at least 100 hours. Six hours in, it is much better already. A bit veiled out of the box. Autobahn by Kraftwerk sounding excellent.- TwoTrack

Jade II Discussion
Got this in for review on Part-Time Audiophile. I just got it playing today. Still breaking in but sounding good. One thing I have learned is that the included stock cable is not great. I added in a Shunyata Delta and the sound took a big leap forward. Early impression on the cans is that...- TwoTrack

The Astell & Kern AK240

The Astell & Kern AK240
I've been using the AK240 on trips and really enjoy it. The only downside has been battery life. It seems to run out of juice in six hours. Maybe the newer models do better.- TwoTrack

Grado Fan Club!
I think what you are hinting at is the psychological effect which is real but there is also genuine burn-in as well.- TwoTrack

In my experience, burn-in affects both the driver and the cable. One major example of driver burn-in as the Audioquest Nighthawks. With prior Grados, I heard the treble and bass become more neutral. On the Audeze cans, the diaphragm seems to break-in over time.- TwoTrack

i think that's true...but I also think cans definitely burn-in over the first 100-200 hours.- TwoTrack

Grado Fan Club!
Update on the PS1000es....they now have 100+ hours on them and the midrange is a bit more fluid. Seems the same effect I got with the PS500s I used to have. The bass gets better and the highs settle down a smidge. But seems less so on the PS1000s. In any event, they sound great and I'm...- TwoTrack

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?
I think listening to music is always the goal so I like your decision! The Curious is very good and a bit of a bargain so I am sorry if I implied otherwise. And not everyone wants to spend $2K on the Galileo usb cable.- TwoTrack

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?
Funny, I had the opposite experience. I like the Curious but in my system the Galileo stomped all over it. Maybe this is dependent on the gear you have.- TwoTrack
