InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread

Jus a few more pics and first impressions- Will start with saying my impressions were taken with my jaw in a relaxed position with no bite block and the fit is fine first go. Had a chat with my audiologist about closed/open mouth impressions and he explained that it would be...

    Got my ears molded today

On seeing my customs my housemate immediately thought I had hearing aids so they will most definitely make you look deaf! I find if Im wearing any headphones around chuggers they don't tend to try and stop me anyway.

InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread

I believe fisher only do dual bore if you request it. My ear canals are small so as a precautionary I decided against them just incase it somehow lead to fit issues. I fail to understand how duals would make a significant impact upon sound so it wasn't a difficult decision.

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING

They've cleared customs and are out for delivery so it would seem I have avoided any extra charges. Shipping to the UK was $60. Sounded steep at first but to insure a package with around a $400 value to send international is quite expensive. Just hope they come before I have to go of to work...

    CALLING ALL CUSTOM IEM'S

This post might be a bit more appropriate in a new topic but thought i'd give it a go here. Was just wondering what reaction if any you guys have had wearing customs in public. I've ordered my remoulds in nice discreet clear purple and get the feeling they're not something seen often on my daily...

    Ear Impression in London, UK

I recently had impressions made with Amplifon in Manchester but they are nationwide. They quoted me £25 for both ears while David Ormerod (boots) in Manchester wanted £40. I was incredibly satisfied with my visit to Amplifon and not just because the audiologist ending up doing the...

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING

Got my Impressions made and ready (audiologist did them for free which was a shock but a nice one at that!). I really want to go for clear purple with clear cables but feel as though something more subtle would be sensible. Ahh decisions.

the Audiologists impressions thread (pun most definitely intended ;) )

For those in the UK, more specifically Manchester I had a great experience with Amplifon on south king street today. I rang around and Amplifon was the cheapest I found at £25 for both ears. The audiologist was very friendly and knowledgeable and once the impressions were taken I was shocked...

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING

Ive just booked in at Amplifon in the UK to get my impressions made at a cost of £25. Boots (David Ormerod) wanted £40. Im split between sending my westone 3's of to fisher or UM at the moment. HIFIdiy's mini USB DAC MK2--Also a headphone amp!

Just to confirm what others have said I have also come to the conclusion that this unit doesn't synergize well with grado's. Sounds fantastic with my westone 3's however.
