I have no real latency on the screen (measured in real time not from my interpretation of it). I can click the button 10 times before it actually skips to the next track, so it's not just latency but actual response.

My back/fwd buttons are extremely unresponsive. They will work only once in a while, and when they work it is usually with a much higher delay than the touch-screen buttons. It doesn't seem like a hardware issue to me. Anyone else?

  I don't know about the HD650, but it drives my HD600s on high gain reasonably well.   Keep in mind I don't have nearly as much experience with nice amped rigs, so it's plausible that someone with this experience might be more critical of their performance unamped.

I have all individual files with embedded artwork and no images (jpgs) in album folders at all. When browsing the individual songs, only generic 'flac' images are shown. The artwork only shows when playing. It's fair to assume that the image in the folder is pulled out in the album view or now...

I was just thinking..   This thing can play music from OTG devices.   What's stopping them from treating a PC as an OTG device? Essentially, being able to map a specific folder on a computer's hard disk and picking up audio files directly from there?

I thought the only art file it reads is those embedded in the actual music file.  I spent all this time cleaning up my files and got rid of all .jpg album art and embedding it only in the flacs.

Maybe the moving component under the actual button is seized down. Have you tried pressing / tapping on it?   It really sucks, but once in a while these things happen. 

Mine works just fine. Do you have music on it? Can you play by using the touch-screen play button?

Got it, thanks. Inserting and removing the SD card didn't do it (maybe because I had turned it off first).   I like that I can delete music on the player its self. Is there a way, from the now playing screen, to locate the song immediately in a directory without having to browse for that song...

I was able to prompt a scan prompt by plugging it, then unplugging it from my computer.   Is there a way to play all music? Literally, select 'shuffle all music'?

Just got my batch 9.   With 1.2.5 it sounds pretty damn good already.   I was not prompted to scan my SD card when I turned it on. Where can I initiate a scan?
