New- Zishan Z1 DSD player thread
Jun 26, 2017 at 11:17 PM Post #891 of 1,364
@Joe Bloggs - Do you know if it's possible for HiBy to work with Zishan, and possibly implement the HiBy Link in a Z1 (if it can have Bluetooth added), to allow control of the screenless DAP with a phone or tablet?
Sorry, HiBy took no part in developing the firmware for this one so no.

I usually find that first impression, before analyzing too much, is usually correct in the long run for my taste :)
I really love the Muses 02 with my **** UE. Absolutely fantastic pairing. Really it is going to be up to earbuds/IEM's as to which one to use. The HA has a bit more power and I'm betting less battery time, while the Muses 02 is a bit faster and I really like that. They are both fantastic and you can't go wrong with either.

Which do you like best with EMX500? That's the only one I'm using

You will get more body and volume from the HA, but a little bit better mid bass slam and still excellent sub bass. Again the Muses is a bit faster and seems to give off better seperation. I have the Muses in there right now. It would be nice to have two Z1's to make a better assessment, but probably the Muses because it doesn't clutter the sound and instrument placement is fantastic. This opinion might change tomorrow. Ha is ridiculous good. Did I confuse you further.:smile_phones:

I don't have LME, some people were saying that it is slightly better than muses02, I'd love to try it out but can't get it anywhere in my country (PL). As for 2134... muses is another league, 2134 is bright, thin in bass, rather cold, not so great separation and detail as muses. But the price gap is huge between those two.
I've heard muses8820 is very close to muses02 and it costs a lot less, You may want to try it out if You find it.
