Talking about the volume knob, is it similar to what Burson uses in their amps? One resistor per step?

I'm really considering the Schiit Mjolnir but I've never tried balanced. Burson HA-160 and Icon Audio HP8 MK2 are cheaper and can be a valid option too.

Hi there, new happy owner of the LCDs here. I haven't tried them yet (weird, I know) but in the meantime I have a question. I see the phones come with a mini-xlr to 1/4" jack cable and another mini-xlr to 4pin XLR. Are these cables any good?
