Bought from Shenzhenaudio in November 2021. Hardly been used since, probably only for 20-30 hours or so. Has always been stored in the protective leather case, and shows minimal signs of wear / use (even under close inspection I can't really see anything at all). Aside from its specs, what I...- willkins

Could never make these fit in my tiny ears and weird ear canals, so figured I'd try trading them here. Purchased from Shenzhen in March 2022, hardly used since then due to the poor fit. Tracked shipping from Norway to anywhere in the world, price not included if selling. Reviews...- willkins

HIFIMAN Svanar Wireless is Available Now - A True Wireless ANC Earbuds for Audiophiles!
Hopefully more of the more mid-/high-end headphone and IEM oriented brands take some inspiration from these and jump on this wagon to start producing TWS buds with ANC options as well. Would love to see more competitive options in the TWS market.- willkins

KopiOkaya's guide to eartips
Huh, we must've been trying out different TWS buds then. Though I also agree that aftermarket tips tend to be (just as) shallow. Only ones I found that worked well for me were the ALXCD Foam Tips, and some of the Comply Foams. The Beyerdynamic Free Byrds take regular ear tips though, so they're...- willkins

KopiOkaya's guide to eartips
Man, same here. I don't know what it is with most modern TWS models going for such a shallow fit compared to regular IEMs.- willkins

How can I know if my IEM's sound quality has dropped?
There's no way the IEMs themselves have changed after just a month, so I second that you check the tips, the filter and possibly your ears.- willkins

KopiOkaya's guide to eartips
Good to know, thanks. Guessing that the 3.6mm nozzle width they show on their item description pages is with the TWS adaptors then. Maybe I'll pick up a pair to test with both my IEMs and my Galaxy Buds.- willkins

The Max Standards are for TWS buds, right? How is the fit and sound of them?- willkins

IEMs or Cans?
As other posters have said, I think they both have their advantages and disadvantages. I am therefore neutral. Personally I think IEMs give you a lot more for what you pay for, both in terms of technicalities and tuning, until you reach roughly the $250 mark, where they break even for a bit...- willkins

New Member Introductions thread
Finally decided to stop lurking here and start participating in the forums after being registered for, what apparently is, over a decade. Been in the audio hobby for a few years now and participated some over on reddit, but now that reddit's on a very steep decline I decided to migrate here...- willkins

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Deezer > Topping E30 > Singxer SA-1 > Beyerdynamic T90 with innerfidelity's AutoEQ profile and Dekoni pads Horrible headphones untreated due to the treble spikes, but technicalities on the Tesla drivers are great and they respond extremely well to EQ Noonday Dream by Ben Howard- willkins
