hd25-1 impressions thread
I have done a small modification for my beloved hd25. This mod helps to bring more micro details but also sibilance. I have to use copper cable and the original foam to soften the sound. The main aim of this mod is to reduce layers of filter between the driver and my ear. I am feeling much happy...- tuanhung303

[REVIEW] Etymotic ER4P / ER4S - The Living Legends
no I mean the Er4p is bassier, and I think it is the only reason to choose over Er4s. Er4s, in my point of view, is not much harder to drive and still fine for people listen with low volume.- tuanhung303

Actually, it blocks other instruments since I listen mainly metal stuffs. I know it is for monitoring purpose but now I may need to find another amp or source that reduce vocal a little bit :D. oh forgot to mention, vocal is perfect when I use a little bit water. Still don't know why...- tuanhung303

[REVIEW] Etymotic ER4P / ER4S - The Living Legends
I am using Er4s with my Blackberry, Output is okay, loudness is okay, quality is also okay. I drive them at home by my ipad and Fiio E11k, their SQ increase but insignificant, about 10%. So it is almost unnoticeable if you wear them on the street. The other factor to be concerned should...- tuanhung303

actually I don't believe much in Burn in. Especially this pair is made from BA. Yes, actually my ears got burned in but in about 3 weeks to make those silicon tips soften. Now, I completely satisfy with Ety performance, excellent details, excellent noise cancellation . Only one...- tuanhung303

okay. I am back and discovered one stuff. After washing my face in the morninng, I put my Ety on before riding my bike to work. I realized their details increased significantly when my ear was a little bit wet. Actually, my PFE, Grado and Superlux was no match to them at that time. Can...- tuanhung303

Yes, sure but I got bad experience for Custom tips so maybe they are not for me. my experience with Ety is almost reversed to everyone opinion. I find their treble is very smooth, not that spiky like Grado or PFE and extends very well but still a little bit lack in quantity (maybe I am a...- tuanhung303

Finally, I decided to go with Er4s. Currently, I am listening them through my Ipad - LOD - Fiio E11k and not impressed by their detail at all. I used to have Grado Sr225, PFE112 and Superlux 681b. I also get some troubles with fit. When using small tripble flange, the sound is mixed, muddy...- tuanhung303

Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0
I have no idea. According to this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/711582/havi-b3-pro-1-impressions-thread. "Cable housings supposed to be Kevlar which is a very durable material. Golden mini jack is L shaped and feels durable. There were no glue residues or assembly mistakes on it either...- tuanhung303

Havi B3 Pro1 : A Review by Baycode
really want to order Havi B3 pro1 but I still hesitate. 1. I could not find "Kevlar" cable that @Baycode mention in the Main description of Havi B3 website. 2. How bad is the channel imbalance issue? I found many reviewers face with this issue. That's all. I am now using phonak...- tuanhung303

Grado SR225 Thread
as I know, there are some desktop amps or sources that are not good for grado, for example Fiio E9. The reason is their impedances are not suit or match. The sound is muddy if I use the can with my laptop or Blackberry but through my Fiio E17, they sound wonderful even in low volume :).- tuanhung303

Grado SR225 Thread
it's normal, if you use it straightly from your DAP just buy a headamp like fiie e17 or some with good p/p, it will improve your experience with low volume listening. I usually use 20 to 30% volume on my sr225i too- tuanhung303

when grado and denon merge together :)
my love - sr225 driver is dead. however, I have a denon d1001, which has the same driver size with grado. I always hate the bass from d1001, uncontrolled and slow for my main genre: metal. So... let's the operation begin now, my grado has sweet...- tuanhung303
