well, power is not everything, but no power is nothing,in the case for susvara. power is nessecery but not sufficient for good sounding for sussy. i am talking as a guy who tried m17 on susvara later moved to a 150w mono block.

i can share master 2A i recently bought, nowhere describe as soft sounding. will write more later.

i am double amping dap hp out to 150w mono at 8ohms, interestingly, i even have to turn knob to 70/100 on dap to get normal listening level. which at 70 is defintely louder than lineout level on the dap. which made me delieve dap lineout to this mono straight to susvara would be fine. so i dunno...

i would partially agree with you because i do have heard a cable maker friend commenting accuphase dont have a lot of power on paper but drives speaker with authority. maybe its down to build and implementation. but i am still very surprised that i am double amping ssusvara with Cayin N8 dap...

i think you will probably be surprised when you hear it with a 100W power amp, my gut feeling

Totally agree, loudness <> good sound my Cayin N8 and Fiio M17 can drive susvara pretty loud at full volume but sound so liveless and recessed. but my newly acquired mono block at similar listening volume, drive them at such authority. I am going to provide some details when my gold point...
