Questions - I am a basshead looking at Sr-80i w/ yellow senns
Grados are better for rock, not electro. Get some closed headphones like the Audio-Technica ATH-M50, Sony XB500/700, etc.- stellar

Will listening to iems on high volume ruin them?
Full volume off an iphone/ipod will be okay, however like someone mentioned I'd be worried about your ears. This can also all depend on the recording/volume level of the song.- stellar

Dsnuts.. if you don't get both the and the CKS99 and FXZ200, then who is gonna build up all the hype to buy both of these because they're just that good? (CKS99 should be selling next week, FXZ200 not available til November which is like super far away)- stellar

Yamaha EPH-100 vs JVC FXD80 vs VSONIC GR07 IEM's
I use the eph-100 for anything on the go. I haven't tried the jvc or vsonics. The reason I like the xb90exs is because they actually drop low with the sub-bass (needed with music like Blackmill), and the mids aren't as recessed as cks77 (which drop just as low). EPH-100 are great overall...- stellar

Yamaha EPH-100 vs JVC FXD80 vs VSONIC GR07 IEM's
The eph-100 is the best with cheap foams from lostearbuds (I use mediums). This combination is really light and comfortable, and I can sleep in them without having them fall out. pictures: http://www.head-fi.org/g/a/682947/yamaha-eph-100-with-foam-tips/- stellar

The ATH-CKS77.
Don't forget that snazzy volume control cable. I'm sure that's at least a $50 markup. CKS99 seems like the way to go! Quote:- stellar
