I broke my headphones and it might be a good time for an upgrade, but I don't know what to get. Suggestions?
Ordered the Samson SR850s a few nights ago. They should come in a week or two from now and I will let you know how they do as far as gaming is concerned. I love my Beyer DT 770 pro 80. They should definitely be on your list...- SteeleW

Youtube video saying earphones are ripoff.
Love my Miles Davis' by Monster. I know marketing. I don't really care. I've done my research, bought and sold many IEMs. I enjoy my only Monster product though...they're fun.- SteeleW

Absolutely...pretty good imaging too. They're not the most precise out there, not the cleanest out there, not the best out there. But they're pretty fast and very fun. Really really good for dynamics. Quote:- SteeleW

Haha..I hope I like them too. Sad thing, I bought them because they would get here quicker than the TF10's I'm having reshelled. But I'm excited for having two new toys to play with soon.- SteeleW

Got some very good, very deep impressions from an audiologist that works a lot with Westone. Sent off some TF10s today. Looking forward to the process...- SteeleW

Poll: Is gaming a waste of time?
No one needs to be constantly productive. People are usually happier when being counterproductive. I game, watch movies, play sports, listen to music, etc. Productivity is all in one's mind IMO. Relax, have fun, shoot some zombies from time to time.- SteeleW

Driving with Headphones
Next time I get behind the steering wheel, I'll see how far I can drive without the stereo on/IEMs/passengers but instead with my eyes closed and I'll give a comparison. Maybe blind peoples' hearing enhances their auditory perception well enough to drive. This thread will be a constant...- SteeleW

$150 IEMs?
For a reference, I use the small ety triple flange tips on my etys as I have smaller ears. I have no problem with fit or isolation with the TF10s using the medium comply foams that came with them. I think the big ordeal about the fit on the TF10s is a little overdone. Also, no problem with...- SteeleW

Ety HF5 don't seal: or is it me ?
It takes a little while to become accustomed to the deep fit but your ears will get used to it. I use the tri flange tips with mine because I found that they sounded the best. You just need to wet your fingertips and use that to moisten the tips you are inserting and put them in with a twisting...- SteeleW
