REVIEW: Ostry KC06
Did those mods some times ago too, inspired by james' post, I think I posted my finding here some dozens page ago. Found it too bassy or aggressive/peaky no matter how I do I even did pinhole mod and while it help it was still a bit too forward for me so back to stock form it went. Be...- laon

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)
There are improvement with better source and amp but not quite as noticeable as other phone I have. Yeah you should, those are pretty good detailed comparison which is a waste to just rot in my inbox. :P I agree about the soundstage, I dunno how to describe it, it's not huge or small, not...- laon

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)
I quite like how DM2 turned out to be after many many hours of burn-in. If Sidy could get the upper mid better next time they'd get one hell of an IEM. Best thing though it sounds quite good already straight out of my phone output, unlike KC06 and A83 which need some power to get them to truly...- laon

FIDUE A83 impressions and discussion thread
Just got this, very satisfying low and upper mid (female vocal) though not without slight coloration and very slight hint of sibilance, nice clarity though but upper high is a bit recessed for my liking (this is very subjective and I reckon most people will be fine or even prefer this kind)...- laon

SoundMAGIC HP100/HP150 Review and Impressions Thread
Velour usually accentuate high and release bass, mean less of them, I think some people here have tried using HP100 with DT velour pad and found it to be like that. I'm still waiting for those hifiman's velour pleather pad... Oh wait, they're already available on the website...- laon

REVIEW: Ostry KC06
Try using the wide tips, if that's not enough then I suggest looking for another IEM. I personally am waiting for high enhanced version of KC06 from Ostry (hopefully they're making them).- laon

REVIEW: Ostry KC06
Nope, I meant for the se215, im50, re400 and re600 bunch. Mid is a bit too laid back and treble too dark for me personally and the fitting, oh boy the fitting.- laon
