$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
I have had the Calyx M for a few months now and adore it. I have been using it with my IEMs only as I did not have a mini cable for my Audeze cans...I have both the original LCD-2 and LCD-3, pre-fazor. I refer them actually. Well, I had a green line balanced terminated cable from ALO audio...- justin b

Cardas A8 IEM
Not yet. I contacted them to get a replacement alligator clip for my old pair of ear speakers and threw in the question on the status of the new model. I got my clip gratis but no answer on to my question. Patiently waiting over here, too. Anyone else have the skinny?- justin b

Cardas A8 IEM
I am listening to my Cardas right now and I have more expensive, more comfortable IEMs and I gravitate to these because the sound is right up my alley, warm, tube-like. Very analog. I can't say enough good things about them and I have learned to deal with the long cable, the heft and everything...- justin b

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
I got the new Calyx M and it works flawlessly and really sounds remarkable, great stereo image and separation. A very warm and musical sound as well, not as linear and literal as the AK240 and RWAK-100S I'm so used too. From the short time I've been able to listen, I prefer it to the Astell&Kern...- justin b

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
It turns out that I have a defective unit and the distributor for NA got on the phone with me and talked me through everything. They are going to send me a new unit and exchange the one I have because the battery will not charge for some odd reason. It was an unknown and likely an isolated...- justin b

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
Well I was able to get what seemed to be a full charge as indicated on the battery indicator and then went and downloaded the Urgent fix .zip file as instructed as my serial number is effected. I copied it to my SD card and followed the instructions I found on Jaben's Facebook page...- justin b

$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage
Need some guidance from the community: I just got my Calyx M from acoustic sounds and it will not take a charge. Its been on the charger by wall wart and now the computer for 3 hours and it just won't fill up. I have to do the software update which is necessary but I can't accomplish it...- justin b

Cardas A8 IEM
I am definitely interested in these. I have and use everyday the em5813, and I adore the sound of them. The bulky cable is a complete PITA, and they are heavy, but of all the IEMs I have gone through the sound of them keeps me engaged and fatigue free. They are not the most comfortable, but...- justin b

Cardas Ear Speakers delayed but worth the wait!
Nice solution with the lanyard! I just drape the cable around my neck or run one of the ear piece cables behind one ear and insert the other one as normal. I manage. For me the sound is what matters and if that means a cumbersome cable, so be it...I'm into these big time regardless.- justin b

The New iRiver/Astell & Kern AK100: A High-End DAP
I can speak from personal experience, my RWAK-100S running through my 2 channel system and my desktop near field setup is killer. It was Vinnie at RWA that told me it would be and he was right. I bought it to use strictly as a portable rig, but I find myself using it on my desktop just as much...- justin b

Cardas Ear Speakers delayed but worth the wait!
I have now spent several months with the cardas and I simply in love with them. I share the same sentiment about fatigue with IEMs but I do like a session with my ER4s Etys from time to time, especially when checking new music for its quality. That detail is good for that. With the Cardas, other...- justin b

Cardas Ear Speakers delayed but worth the wait!
I totally agree...a few months with these and I am smitten. Yes, the cable is heavy and a bit long, and the ear pieces themselves being brass are also heavy, but who cares! The tone and timber and soundstage are phenomenal. I simply stopped looking for another IEM. These just do it for me and...- justin b

Cardas Ear Speakers delayed but worth the wait!
I totally agree with your experience. I am a big fan of these IEMs obviously as I have posted before. The cable is a rather heavy, yes, but I wear them with the cable over the ear and that goes a long way to making them very comfortable. I stopped wearing them simply with the cable hanging down...- justin b

Cardas Ear Speakers delayed but worth the wait!
Now listen to binaural recording by dr. Chesky's. I'm shocked, the soundstage-imaging- positioning-3d sound I can't explain, the sound is more natural than any my collections, it sound more out of my head. I guess, maybe the house sound of this iem is tuned by George Cardas based on a "Home...- justin b
