i pulled the trigger on the fx700 like mentioned here.   work is being good to me and have some funds.   do the jvc 700 benefit from a portable amp. i have my eyes on a shadow currently with a nice lod.   or should i just go get my 200th tattoo with the money.

its been a while since ive had them. im guessing the hard hitting bass and the clarity.   the music i listen to mainly is fast and hard hitting. i want something in your face with impactful bass and nice treble.

i eventually wanna upgrade to a pico or rsa amp, but my tattoo hobby needs to be tended to as well, so i cant justify spending 750 on this setup while ignoring my other hobby.   and soundstige if it sounds even 10% better than my ipod and 325i did than ill be a VERY happy camper.
