No offence taken, invisiman . My gripe is with the moderation on here, rather than yourself. Still annoyed with it today, TBH... ~Phewl.- AudioPhewl

Just to add... this really doesn't look to me as if it's drunken behaviour bad enough to warrant banning? http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f46/sa...6/#post5839009 http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f5/tia...ml#post5839006 http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f5/com...ml#post5838997 Though the thread I...- AudioPhewl

Safe for DAC to burn-in 24/7?
My DAC was monitored for the first 24 hours, then left on 24/7. Has been powered off twice since January, I think... If it's good for the first few hours, and from a reputable source, the chances are it'll work very well for many hours to come. ~Phewl.- AudioPhewl

/me waves , and is quite drunkererered. Am drunk, but often happy to help. Not heard from you for a while, Mr Chum. Worked in IT for years, doing repairs to laptop motherboards for a good part of it, as well as mobile phone repairs. Plenty happy to sort you out, good sir. ~Phewl.- AudioPhewl

Safe for DAC to burn-in 24/7?
Yes, it's safe to leave it on. Though I'd try not to leave it unattended for the first couple of days, just in case something isn't quite right. ~Phewl.- AudioPhewl

MPD - Linux music player...
All my music is stored in:- /media/music/artist - album/track number - track name.extension /media/music/FLAC/artist - album/yadda... So I don't mind navigating through just a directory-based structure. But are there any frontends that will correctly organise music by artist, yet still...- AudioPhewl

MPD - Linux music player...
Am thinking of switching to it, as I've still not grown fond of Amarok 2(I doubt a puke smiley exists that demonstrates how much I dislike it). Does anyone know of any good front-ends for it? Hopefully something similar to Amarok 1.4... Secondly, the last time I had a play with it(a year or...- AudioPhewl

Tianyun Zero DAC - New 2009 Edition
DAC IC -> DAC opamp -> Headphone amplifier Yes, the opamp used after the DAC IC will change the sonic characteristics given to the headphone amplifier, pre-amplification. ~Phewl.- AudioPhewl

SPORTS BIKE riders out there?? Show us what you got!
I started learning on a CG125. After 10 minutes the instructor put me on an ER-5. Passed my test, and was out on my VFR750 the same day(bought it a few weeks earlier). Used it every day for over 3 years(in all weathers) until an old lady wrote it off. Replaced with a Triumph Daytona 955i. I...- AudioPhewl
