Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
This thread is sooo interesting !!! Guys, here is a tough one for you: I absolutely love the Etymotic ER-4P IEM !!! Unfortunately I cannot use IEMs anymore. So I am looking for a full sized (dynamic) headphone as close as possible to the ER-4P's accuracy, speed, detail and unsurpassed...- antk

Need your advise for a headphone for iPhone
The Etymotic hf3 are stunning straight of the iPhone. You are bound for some serious eargasms with these (given the genres you like to listen to)- antk

Falling back in love with my Etys
Ah, the ER-4Ps !!! Some listening sessions with them really defy any wordily description . It is as if CDs, players, amps, cables, headphones etc. everything just disappears and you are left in a silent hall with the musicians soulfully playing just for you !- antk

Skinny vs. Fat iPod nano design
The fatty 3G is (for me anyway) the DAP with the best form-factor I've ever owned!!! I wish apple reverts to this design for the 32gb nano- antk

Wow ! What if I praised the ER-4P's bass ?
Quote: It's really good with albums that aren't mixed "in your face", but more laid back. Otherwise it can make a more forward sounding album to sound shrill. Allman Brother's 'At Fillmore East' came to mind (primarily, because my DAP's shuffle algorithm just thought of 'You don't...- antk

Wow ! What if I praised the ER-4P's bass ?
I am a big fan of J.S. Bach, jazz and the ER-4P. And I just had the combination explode over me while listening to Jacques Loussier's 'The Bach Book - The 40th Anniversary album'. It is the kind of music (and recording) that make the ER-4P really shine. The interesting thing though, is that...- antk

Replacing ER-4Ps
Since you've been so helpful so far, may I go for a last one ? Are these the 'olives' ?? Shure * - Black Foam Sleeves It seems like they could be comfy. Given that I get a good seal with the standard Ety triflanges what size should I go for ? Again, thank you all very much.- antk

Replacing ER-4Ps
Guys, thank you all for your responses ! If I understand you correctly the sound signature of the Etys (that I enjoy so much) is rather unique and I'd be better off trying to attack the comfort problem than looking for a replacement IEM (with the specified budget). Correct ?- antk

Replacing ER-4Ps
Hi all, I've been lurking around here for quite some time but this is my first post. I was lucky enough to have as my first hi-fi phone the ER-4P about 3 years ago. I absolutely love them ! I do not find them lacking in bass (contrary to the common belief here) and I really like their...- antk
