This thread is sooo interesting !!!   Guys, here is a tough one for you: I absolutely love the Etymotic ER-4P IEM !!! Unfortunately I cannot use IEMs anymore. So I am looking for a full sized (dynamic) headphone as close as possible to the ER-4P's accuracy, speed, detail and unsurpassed...

The Etymotic hf3 are stunning straight of the iPhone. You are bound for some serious eargasms with these (given the genres you like to listen to) 

Ah, the ER-4Ps !!! Some listening sessions with them really defy any wordily description . It is as if CDs, players, amps, cables, headphones etc. everything just disappears and you are left in a silent hall with the musicians soulfully playing just for you !

Guys, thank you all for your responses ! If I understand you correctly the sound signature of the Etys (that I enjoy so much) is rather unique and I'd be better off trying to attack the comfort problem than looking for a replacement IEM (with the specified budget). Correct ?
