not sure where i implied that in order to be an audiophile, you must spend lots of money.

based on my searches, looks like the fiio improves bass.. is that what it mainly does? i prefer treble and soundstage over bass. 

what does "paypal protected" mean though? as in you can claim you never received the item, and paypal will just refund you? how would paypal even go about proving who is cheating who?

So I have a question.. when someone pays for an item, do they use the "gift" option to avoid paypal fees? I don't really think paypal would really protect the buyer much, even if the transaction were really a purchase on head-fi... so what's the point?

i'm not a pro/true audiophile, and i can tell you that they certainly do. the soundstage and bass, at least to my ears, are noticeably improved.. even with just my govibe v5.
