SE215 vs $400 options?
I'm leaning more toward the fh5 still. The ER4XR seems to be more neutral and analytical from what I've read, without real punchy bass.- aCanadianDude

SE215 vs $400 options?
Short and sweet. I’m not an audiophile. I’m not interested into really deeply analyzing how a headphone sounds. About 10 years ago or so I had a pair of se215’s and I loved them! Mostly listen to hip hop. Enjoyed the bass they produced. They broke after awhile and I’ve been using some beats...- aCanadianDude

Headphone Sightings 2
1st day of second semester classes for me, I plopped down to next to a very pretty hipster-esque chick. She had a pair of headphones around her neck, I had to awkwardly squint over my shoulder to catch the model name, TR55LX. A quick google search left me disappointed. In another class I saw...- aCanadianDude

Rap/Hip-Hop Headphones?
On any budget I would still suggest the Sony XB500, if you like punchy bass or the XB700 if you like deep, deep bass.- aCanadianDude

People Don't Understand the Sheer Beauty of Audiophilia....
it wasn't even 'cool' to wear full size headphones out in public until the beats came along. I think that has been a good thing though, i've noticed my local bestbuy begin to start stocking decent cans, as apposed to just the beats.- aCanadianDude

well, it's not really much of a mainstream hobby, so you kinda have to come to expect it.- aCanadianDude

Yet another noob looking for recommendations
I seen you said you were from the east coast of Canada? Me too, it's pretty inconvenient for purchasing headphones down here. Just a fyi all my purchases were made off amazon, if you're looking for a site to buy what you inevitably decide on. :)- aCanadianDude

Doping your gf into an audiophile
My girl only likes my XB500's, not enough to buy one though. Everything else sounds 'boring' to her. Besides the dt770, hasn't tried them.- aCanadianDude

Good headphones under $300? (bose or sennheiser)
I think the reason why people hate Bose is the same reason they hate the Beats, they are overpriced for what they are and everyone thinks they're the best.- aCanadianDude
