have you tried them and the fh5?

I'm leaning more toward the fh5 still. The ER4XR seems to be more neutral and analytical from what I've read, without real punchy bass.

On any budget I would still suggest the Sony XB500, if you like punchy bass or the XB700 if you like deep, deep bass.

One of my friends has shown a interest in my se215's, he wants to try them out when i get them back from shure. what do you guys think about sharing iem's? kinda turns me off a bit.

it wasn't even 'cool' to wear full size headphones out in public until the beats came along. I think that has been a good thing though, i've noticed my local bestbuy begin to start stocking decent cans, as apposed to just the beats.

well, it's not really much of a mainstream hobby, so you kinda have to come to expect it.

My girl only likes my XB500's, not enough to buy one though. Everything else sounds 'boring' to her. Besides the dt770, hasn't tried them.

I think the reason why people hate Bose is the same reason they hate the Beats, they are overpriced for what they are and everyone thinks they're the best. 

a new student in one of my classes had what appeared to be westone 3's today, needless to say i was shocked. I'll have to do further investigation on monday.
