That is correct @chaturanga, the label specifically says that it is a free review unit, so @LikeABell you will not have to pay any custom duties.

The headphones for the USA were shipped from the US, for the rest of the world we shipped them directly from our HQ in Romania.

We will send you tracking links for the packages.

Thank you for the reply!

I can't wait to receive the headphones.

Congrats on those getting to review the Neo,

I heard these at a show in London couple weekends ago plus again this weekend just gone at the Milton Keynes show and have to say they do sound different in some parts to the wooden classics and think you are all going to like them especially if you like the original Classics.

They are both different but both just as nice to listen to.

Just for anyone looking at cables to pimp their ride or shall I say Meze later on like I have done is the Kimber cable which this version doesn't cost the earth but sounds very good.  I have posted the Kimber before but then I didn't have the 2.5 balanced and XLR 4 pin balanced which are pictured here plus i have one coming with a 4.4 Balanced for the Sony WM1a which I'm lookign forward to which I'm picking up tomorrow.

Just got to say I heard the Classic 99's XLR balanced with the IFI Pro Can running in tube mode and sounded captivating in this pairing and made for each other.

Have fun with the Neo everyone. Please see below for some Head-fi Meze porn....

Hi Team Meze.  Thanks guys,
wink_face.gif

No worries I was not on the list, just thought if it meant others got to hear them for first time then all good so was not offended in anyway but stoked you have included me once again.

As you know I've been lucky enough to hear the Neo twice now in last week @ Metropolis Studios London & Milton Keynes Head-fi show and was mildly surprised there is a difference between the Classics and Neo but one that from my brief listens was just as good but sounding different.

Like car manufacturers do using same chassis but different body, both Chrysler 300C and Dodge Charger both sexy American muscle cars but share same chassis.  Which one do I like the most, hmmm... hard one to call!

P..s. The guy I talked to on the stand both times I think is Matt? is a great guy to talk to and had good conversation all things Meze which also sounded stella through the very capable Questyle dap he had the Neo's running with.

Got the balanced 4.4 Sony Kimber Meze cable waiting for me when I got home tonight and have to say sounds amazing in balanced, more improved than I actually ever thought it could be to SE.  Blown me away, maybe there is something to Sony's 4.4 philosophy as it sure makes a difference with the Meze.

Looking forward to having a prolonged listen to these at home in perfect isolation!

Thanks once again...
