Anyone know if the galaxy tab 2  7.0 jbean vers.  is compatible with an external usb dac?

I have an odac and it go very well with s3, but I prefer a more large screen.

Yes.

The USB descriptors of the E17 firmware don’t completely conform to the USB specification.

Samsung or some modder could provide a modified and more tolerant USB driver to fix this USB descriptor issue.

That is really damn cool. Not quite where I would say good to go, but I bet a DIY option using that connector can be done to make an all-in-one USB -> SPDIF cable.

 

 

Can the nexus 7 driver not be used? 

It should be adapted to the hardware of the Galaxy S3.

So far, like the quad-core Exynos powered Galaxy S III, the new quad-core Exynos powered Samsung Galaxy Note II can work with the iBasso D12, the ODAC and the VentureCraft Go-Dap X; has some issue with the HeadAmp Pico; and doesn’t work with the FiiO E17.

 

So, in regard to standard USB audio, the behaviour of the Galaxy Note II is likely identical to the behaviour of the Galaxy SIII.

I'm from Canada and just ordered the Samsung Galaxy SIII (i747 model with Snapdragon chip) and was wondering if it will work with my UD100 Dac or better my Centrance DACport (with power USB hub)?

So far only the USB controller of the Exynos SoC has some issue with the USB controller of the HeadAmp Pico.

Any love (USB audio) for the galaxy nexus? I have seen the s3 getting all the praise but a lot of the s3 providers seem reluctant to put out 4.1. AFAIK only Verizon hasn't stepped up for the nexus/4.1 combo. With millions of users I am surprised this hasn't been talked about more.
