I'm getting mine in 2-4 weeks. Not bad really. Had a 1 week delay because my impressions were taken wrong.

Do you use the stock case or something else? I "modified" my Otterbox 1000 with the UM logo and my details at the back and it is a really tight fit with just the Toxic cables 8 wire in it. Wonder if it will fit the miracles.

I've tried a Westone vault, but found it a little too tight (with stock Epic cable) so little chance with my DHC cable.

I bought a soft digital camera pouch that I'm planning to try when I get my Miracles back. It won't protect them from hard hits, but when they're not in my ears they're generally in my backpack which has a hard-walled space for cameras / music gear, etc. so it's just the Miracles, my GR07s (in a semi-hard case) and my DAPs (separated from the earphones by a divider in the backpack)

Wished UM would have included a Pelican case or something.

Actually I've never really found the FitEar or Tralucent Pelican(-like) cases useful. To me the most useful was UM's older round-zipped hard shell. Wish they would bring those back instead.

Agree. I use a similar case (bought very cheaply on eBay) for my GR07s / Re272s. It's a little smaller than the UM one, but similar.

I originally wanted to use one of them, but those cases won't even fit my cable, let alone the miracles. You cannot fit those pelican cases into your pockets so it is not nearly as portable as those clamshell cases.

So after listening with the setup which i kept upgrading till i reach the satisfaction with miracle i am going to post my reflection ^^
i wont review the Miracle that much because a lot did more than enough here and there is nothing more to add.

Intro: ( Note: i use the PC and wont comment on DAPs)

Before i start let me tell you that i had HD650 with Magic Tube D1 AND IT WAS GOOD! yet the only problem made me go CIEM/IEM again was the fact the best
gear had always Open Dynamic driver which i cant use for various reasons such as the noise caused to others around me, and wanted to get
the same level of enjoyment with a CIEM and kept updating till i even reached what i wanted and even more!!

i will aim to tell you how does the Miracle act with few famous items, and will compare them in the soundstage , Musical level  and harshness (fatigue us faster).

My Setup:

I start with ASUS Xonar Phobus ---> Uha6s.MKII (Optical Connection to the MOBO) and finally with DACporLX.

ASUS XONAR

ASUS Xonar was Musical enough yet the Harshness and the hiss will let you leave early and you wont think of using it with the miracle that often
it reacted good with a lot of files and sadly even some flac files will sound harsh that you wont enjoy and will close it or move to another file.
others will enjoy it unless you tryed proper amped HD650 and you want the same thing.

TLDR: Musical yet harsher than any other equipment

UHA6S.MKII:frowning2:AD8610ARZ)

i tested this one with an optical cable because i did a previous comparing between the ASUS Xonar and the USB dac of this one and sadly enough the Xonar won,
yet with the Optical connected to the PC's MOBO the Miracle's soundstage will go wider and a lot of harshness will go away!! yes a lot :p
YET!! i noticed that it wasn't as musical the ASUS(i felt something was missing if few songs )  and i wasn't happy at all but it was good ofc for most of the files,
people can tell the difference then they A/B you know

TLDR: slightly less musical that ASUS yet not as harsh but you will miss the musical level of few types of music. (the reason is that the DAC of this AMP isn't like any other of the same price)

DACportLX + (proper AMP):

Here come the King that will take ALL the previous cons and make the most of the amps shine!!!

used it with the Uha6S.MKII and IT WAS LIKE MAAAAAAGIIIIIIIC!!! no harshness at all!! i can use it for hours and hours with even higher volume that usual and will stay away something called fatigue!
and the Miracle sounded suddenly way detailed and musical than the HD650 itself that i enjoyed some few songs that i didn't like before and started to hear more details!!!

TLDR: Musical to the max! not harsh at all! you will feel like Miracle is Miracle for real!

Conclusion:

If you bought the miracle or have any other CIEM/IEM trust me you won't know how good what you have till you get a proper dac/amp setup!

i really think it is kind of waste to pay a lot and not to enjoy how good your CIEM really is! that if you are someone like me who love hearing the music on the PC most of the time ^^

Get this Dac/Amp and i ensure that your CIEM/IEM will shine and you wont feel tired at all! were you will be enjoying the music for hours!

Note: sorry i am not the best writer my English is bad when it comes to writing :p but i really want all the PC users to enjoy their CIEM/IEM as much as i am enjoying it right now!

Nice review Shini!

Glad you're liking the Dacport so much. You've got me interested now. I wonder how far ahead of the DragonFly it is?

The DACport LX is really good. I mean I wasn't even using its full potential until I got the Triad L3 and hooked that up to a dedicated PSU (clean power) and that is when I can confidently say I reached the LX full capability. Both are just superb together :).

Lee, how much does a dedicated psu cost? I need to hook up my dac/amp and speakers to one of those I think!
