i did own xonar st with dt990 600ohm although it drive them good but no way near their full potential especially in the bass department i recommend that you get the 250ohm version from what i hear there's little difference between 250ohm and 600ohm

ad700 are good with movies that have alot of dialog   but i dont like them with action movies coz they lack bass and im looking right now for dt990 from what i heard they are great for movies and have good bass

and how is the bass in hfi-2400 ist much less than the closed ones ?
