Lol, I sold the DT880/32. I prefer their sound for gaming over ALL other headphones I have ever owned/tested, but the one thing they lacked is what I needed the most for FPS gaming: distinctly different front/rear audio cues. For everything else, I would easily say the DT880s >>>>> K701. But since the K701 does everything amazingly, they get my pick now.
 
That post was prior to my selling them, obviously. If you're not an FPS heavy gamer, the DT880 can't be touched for everything else, IMHO.

someone has, I remember seeing them mention using those and the pro 900 for gaming. can't remember who, but I believe it was a contributor.
