So the built-in amp of a soundcard woulb be sufficient for a DT770 ? Interesting... What model would fit more ? I guess an STX essence or Claro Halo would be too much ?
 
However, if the Audio-Technica sounds right for metal, I may give them a chance one day, since the price is pretty much wallet-friendly for me !
