Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
The Re0 is not best for that genre true, what did you recommend for hip hop/edm ? I don't like to much bass; it gives me a headache. If I use the Hisound Studio 3anv, it powers the RE0 flawlessly. It sounds good, but if I listen to my iPhone 6 plus; it does sound way lacking. I hear the...- supracrazy_tommy

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
so what has been the consensus on biting the bullet to go for the re-600 or is re-400 such a good deal that you can't pass it up. I would be upgrading from the Re0 actually. I'm torn between just going for the re-600 or settling with re-400. I mainly listen to hip hop/edm, but I like clean...- supracrazy_tommy

Introducing the T10i, an all new IEM from RHA
Dweaver, I do appreciate your reply from earlier, for someone that listens to mainstream hip hop/dance/pop do you feel these iems would be the perfect candidate for that genre ? I like Bass, but I don't want it to be overwhelming that drowns out the clarity of the music. Do you think the bass...- supracrazy_tommy

Introducing the T10i, an all new IEM from RHA
I just picked up the ma750s, I love the build quality of these iems, but I might consider returning mine to wait for the tf10s. Overall, do you feel that the TF10s are a worthy upgrade from the 750s ?- supracrazy_tommy

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
Hmm some reviews on here say that the re-272 is better than the re-400. That's funny because even the CEO of hifiman, Fang mentioned in an interview that these should be superior to the re-262 and re-272. That is the reason he decided to discontinue them. I have the RE-0 and I was considering...- supracrazy_tommy

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
I know these are pretty much stay at home headphones, but does anyone happen to have the portable m-100s? How do they compare to these? Are they in a different league? It is hard to get an honest opinion on that thread; it seems way to biased towards it.- supracrazy_tommy

EDIT: Hisound Audio to Release New DAP Product-Line (NOVA with micro SD card support)
I been using the m-100s lately. I normally listen around 20ish regardless of headphones though. Hey Lee, I noticed that you have had some new daps lately. You have the rk100 right? How would you say that compares to the studios. Also does the n1 have audible hiss like the studios ? If so...- supracrazy_tommy

Quote: Whoa low volume ? The max is 31, and I sure hope you don't listen to it even near that high. For casual listening on my 3rd anniv studios I got like 20-22. I am interested in the N3; I really do like the my 3rd gen studios, but something as simple as not being able...- supracrazy_tommy

hifiman HE-400, only for home use ?
So I heard that Planar headphones are the high ends of full sized headphones. This is an odd comparison, but how do the he-400 compare to dynamic headphones like the v-moda m-100 or senn momentums. The source I use is the hisound 3rd gen studios. Most planar headphones start at the...- supracrazy_tommy

iRiver AK100 vs. Hisound Studio 3rd Gen
Anyone that has or heard these, can they tell me is it worth it to upgrade from the studios. The hisound Studios were my first high end dap, and the sq is amazing despite the slight hiss. Mainly its the UI that really drives me crazy. I can't stand having to go all the way back to pick...- supracrazy_tommy

EDIT: Hisound Audio to Release New DAP Product-Line (NOVA with micro SD card support)
Hey Jack, can I ask does this go better with iems than say the studios ? The studios I feel are too powerful for my needs because I mainly use low impedence iems, and pairing those with the studios just causes heavy hiss. Would the nova suit me better with iems you think? low imped...- supracrazy_tommy

Trade for the Perfect player in the world ---Hisound’s Studio 3rd Anniversary edition
I find that this player requires headphones with high impedance, so the more sensitive your iems or lower impedance they are, the more the hiss is more audible. There really aren't any IEMs that are high impedance though. These are best with actual headphones because they are in the higher...- supracrazy_tommy

What are some good IEMs that are high impedance ?
My hisound studios don't do well with low impedance IEMs, it gives off that fatal hiss everyone talks about. The only IEM I have that is high impedance are the hifiman RE0. They sound good, but I was looking for an upgrade from that and a little more bass wouldn't hurt heh- supracrazy_tommy

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
Lol how do y'all stand that bass without having a splitting headache. I tried the tape mod and surprisingly it sounds a lot better. It tames the bass for me, so I can turn the volume up before I couldn't because the bass was just overpowering. I hate how Ghetto it looks having tape on $400 IEMs...- supracrazy_tommy

Hisoundaudio Studio V 3rd Anniversary Edition Review
Hey I got a question for anyone that has the Vsonic Gr07. How do these pair to the 3rd gen studios. I have the ie80 and the bass is a bit too much for me. If anyone has both the Gr07 and ie80 that would be even better for me. If you could only have one, would you take the Gr07 or...- supracrazy_tommy
